The Court

The Court is a choreographic exploration of the mind's internal conflicts. The piece invites viewers to witness the inner chaos of being human, where thoughts, instincts, and desires coexist. Four symbolic figures-the King, the Devil, the Crow, and the Jester-embody distinct aspects of the psyche: the controlling exterior, the hidden indulgence, the intuitive soul, and the questioning mind. These facets move between harmony and discord, revealing the layered complexity of the self.

How Am I To Know

How Am I to Know is a duet set to the nostalgic strains of Ava Gardner’s How Am I to Know, weaving together romance, absurdity, and a haunting sense of impermanence. With a touch of dark humor and a vintage charm, the piece explores the intricate dynamics of a romantic relationship—its tenderness, tension, and inevitable unraveling. The choreography balances the theatrical with the emotional, evoking both the intimacy and strangeness of love. At its heart lies the act of letting go—whether as a symbol of death, loss, or the quiet, continual surrender that relationships demand over time.

Insomnia

Insomnia is a visceral solo work set within the intimate confines of an apartment. Taking a literal yet layered approach, the piece explores the restless cycles of sleeplessness—tossing, turning, pacing, and repeating. Through familiar gestures from a night-time routine, it captures the psychological weight of insomnia: the racing thoughts, the heightened sensitivity to silence, and the slow unraveling of a mind caught between exhaustion and alertness. Insomnia exposes the quiet torment of a body desperate for rest, yet unable to escape its own wakefulness.

Amorphous

Amorphous is a large ensemble work created on a group of approximately twenty dancers, exploring the complexity of collective presence. Using the mass of bodies as a fluid, responsive structure, the piece creates an ever-shifting visual landscape—one that appears to breathe, expand, and contract in constant motion. At its core, Amorphous is a reflection of the internal dynamics within a group: the push and pull of individual impulses, the subtle negotiations of space, and the quiet tension between unity and independence.
